Three estranged Gospel Singing sisters reunite for a daughter's Gone With the Wind-type wedding--all planned to make mom's dreams come true. Add a fortune-telling friend, a highway patrolman, an elusive fiancé, and a "snobbish mother of the groom" to the mix and the fun begins! Big sister plans to help cut expenses with friends bringing Tupperware snacks and the guys cooking barbecue on the church grounds. Dearly Beloved is set in Texas, of course, and is perfect for late summer entertainment.
