This early Andrew Lloyd Weber musical returns to the Lamp-Lite stage after fourteen years of happy memories. Carrie Swann, as the Narrator,sings and spins out the ancient tale of Joseph and his brothers. "Christian Rocker" Jimmy Ivins and a company of Lamp-Lite players, young and old, join to weave the magic. The authors of Jesus Christ Superstar have created a soft-rock fantasy from the Biblical story of Joseph and his brethren, and turned this ancient tale into a rollicking pastiche of vaudvillian turns, country and western, calypso, 50s rock and roll, and rock. Tim Rice teamed with Webber to create this charmer. The pair later launched Jesus Christ Superstar.
